In the times, sensing technology is becoming more and more popular in human life and plays an indispensable role in the process of the future development of science and technology. Whether in intelligent buildings, such as electronic locks, smoke detection and other safety systems, the communication and transmission of machines and machines in factory automation, or smart grid, water meter and blood pressure detector, etc., all need to combine precise sensing technology to achieve intelligent life. In response to this trend, the latest MSP430 microcontroller (MCU) is introduced (TI).
Zhan Xunqi, director of embedded system of TI semiconductor marketing and application, said that in recent years, due to the development of Internet of things, single IC is unable to support all the needs of manufacturers, so MCU becomes more important. In the future, TI will continue to improve the cost performance and efficiency of MCU products. The goal is to improve the well-being of the developers at a good price and meet the needs of the developers.
The new MSP430 microcontroller can use all kinds of integrated mixed signal functions for different applications and solutions to achieve a simple sensing function, at the same time through the common core architecture, tools and software ecosystem as well as the migration guide to expand files, a customized demand. This series of new products also includes two new introductory products and a new TI LaunchPad development kit that enables developers to quickly evaluate them.
The MSP430 value type sensing that developers can use code case base flexible customization of 25 commonly used system level functions, including the timer, input / output expander, system reset controller, electrically erasable programmable read-only memory (EEPROM) etc.. In addition, the universal core architecture, tools and software ecosystem, as well as expanded file files including migration guide, enable developers to select the appropriate MSP430 super value sensing MCU for each design. Moreover, designers can expand from 0.5KB MSP430FR2000 MCU to MSP430 and measure MCU product mix to meet the needs of more memory, higher performance, or more analog peripherals.
